Strategy
For Machinations to succeed, I need to definite what makes Machinations different. .
The first step of Machination we focus on the male market to start growing the brand. It was clearly identified with online research and conversations men felt left out of accessories that had meaning to them.
there is also very few brands that stand out.
Most mention brands David Yurman on the high luxury end and then Harley Davison on the low end. The companies Machinations most identified with the Great Frog and Clocks and Colours.
This gave me a good place to start. I was able to start identify themes to define Machinations niche’ to be an edge in the market.
Values handmade unique talismans
Customization always possible is a big bounus
Cross culture symbolism
Counter culture representation
Occult & esoteric flare
Identify Themes
Brand Story video ad
Brand awareness video ad.
High site conversation and more followers.
Social media post.
Extremely hight viewer ship.
Once we had some base themes the fun research began. I looked at music, tv show, lifestyle, house decor ( a lot of taxidermy), and of course fashion. From this, we developed the photography, the tone of content site, social and advertisement.
Deep dive into hashtags for Instagram and who would be a good connection to build up followers organically. Defining the ad targets in the Metaverse.
Beyond the digital space, it helped the Machinations look for stores to sell in, markets to attend, and what products sell best to focus on.
Entry level piece under $125. Return customers spending $300-$900.
